1st day: Boat trips Tropea – Capo Vaticano, full day

Get to know the beautiful Costa degli Dei between Briatico and Capo Vaticano on our fisher boat Etica – recently restructured! See the rugged coastline, rocks of white limestone, white sandy bays and the wonderful old town of Tropea from seaside. During several stops you can swim in the crystal-clear water or go fishing with the fishermen. At Capo Vaticano will be served a complete lunch with fresh fish.

Capo Vaticano is situated at about 8 km from Tropea. The coastline is called “Costa degli Dei” – Coast of the Gods and is famous for its beautiful beaches and clear waters.

Beachfans will love this place as well as lovers of nature and families. Capo Vaticano’s big wide beaches and small bays of white sand slope gently into shallow waters – perfect forwatersport and fun with children. Although there are many small hotels and holiday apartments along the bays, the region has retained its natural beauty.

Beaches of Capo Vaticano: “Grotticelle”, “Praia di Fuoco”, “Spiaggia del Tono”, “Tonicello”, “Torre Marino”, “Torre Ruffa”, “Baia di Formicoli”, “Baia di Riaci” e “Baia di S. Maria”.

2nd day: Aeolian Islands or Stromboli by Night

AEOLIAN ISLANDS

Board a motorboat for a pleasure cruise to the picturesque Aeolian islands. Visit Stromboli, known as the lighthouse of the Mediterranean, due to its perpetual activity and watch the famous Sciara del Fuoco out at sea. Discover Lipari, the largest island with its historical port district and the 16^th-century castle complex towering over the main town or take part in a sightseeing tour by bus (optional). Vulcano is the natural spa island, with bubbling mud pits and fizzy warm waters where you have time to relax and swim.

STROMBOLI BY NIGHT

Leaving from Tropea in the afternoon you arrive on a comfortable motor boat at Stromboli. You have the chance to explore the historical centre of San Vicenzo with its winding streets, boutique shops and characteristic restaurants until sunset. Back on board you sail out to sea to watch the dramatic eruptions of the Sciara del Fuoco (fire slide) in the darkness.

3rd day: Excursion with the SubSea Explorer (new!)

This year we arrange for the summer season a new and exciting excursion in the fantastic scenery of the Costa degli Dei.

The “Subsea Explorer” allows you an submarine vision, even at night thanks to the powerful lighting attached, of the “Regional Marine Park of the Costa degli Dei”. You can explore many types of animals as well as plant species.

The tour has a duration of about 2 hours in order to have the chance to see and photograph the sea from another perspective. You will also have the chance to go swimming in the beautiful crystalclear sea which we pass during our excursion.
